Casey Anthony: Judge Strickland to Retire

It appears that Judge Stan Strickland, the judge who first oversaw Casey Anthony’s murder trial, is retiring.

From WESH:

After almost 20 years on the bench, Circuit Judge Stan Strickland said his last day will be Dec. 31.

The judge who uttered the now famous words, “The truth and Miss Anthony are strangers,” cited burnout in his decision to step down.

“I’m a Type-B personality in a Type-A job,” Strickland said.”I’m worn out and ready to try something new.”
