Casey Anthony: Documentary Inspired by Anthony Suspended

I Wanna Be On® has suspended production on a previously announced documentary, entitled “What Was I Thinking,” inspired by the Casey Anthony trial. The purpose of this documentary was to increase awareness of Borderline Personality Disorder and its impact on families and children.

From the press release:

“After consulting with other producers and creatives, I have decided to halt production to protect the families and children who have agreed to participate in the project. Their stories are compelling and we have a creative, fiduciary duty to portray their stories with minimal impact on their future lives, especially their children. In light of the Casey Anthony trial, we feel that the project and its cast would benefit, even if not commercially, from some distance from this summer’s events.”

Hmm…I don’t know why they would halt production. The public’s outcry against Casey would deem this a good time to discuss these issues and vilify misdeeds or family malfunctions due to “personality disorders”.

Unless, the production softens the disorders in some fashion so that the Casey-outcry turns against those in the production?

While I surely don’t oppose any Medical/Informative Documentary on “Borderline Personality Disorder”, I’m in total Disagreement of such a Documentary being “based on Casey Anthony”. Why is this neccessary?? Why, in a round-about way, Glorify and/or Pacify her, and what is the single absolute need to associate this particular Mental Disorder “based” only on this one particular individual?? Further… when, where, and by whom has it been Confirmed that Casey Anthony indeed HAS this Affliction?? I’ve only ever heard one Psychologist, on a TV Panel, “Suggest” that Casey may POSSIBLY have BPD. No one really knows WHAT the hell is wrong with her, and she only started getting Professional Help just days ago. Call me Skeptical, but hearing about these things, at this particular point in time, really makes me wonder what people’s Motives are. Good that they decided to Suspend it— seemingly for the right Reasons— and I think they need to Re-Consider putting this out as being reflective of Casey Anthony’s “Condition”, when that Fact has not been established, or better yet, simply make the Documentary without reference to her or anyone specific. If their true and honest intent is to Educate and bring Awareness about this Mental Disease, they do not need to use Casey’s name to do so.

Good points, Honeydog. I don’t even believe she’s receiving help. I think that is staged.
