Casey Anthony: Roy Kronk Expected to Testify

The defense is expected to call Roy Kronk to the witness stand today in what many believe will be a key moment in the defense teams strategy.

Those who have followed the case closely over the past couple of years know about Roy Kronk, but we must always remember that for those who may not be as knowledgeable, this is the first time that they have heard the names we know all to well and the testimony that they’re giving.

Should be interesting…

From CBS News:

Kronk has been summoned to the Orange County Courthouse by Anthony’s defense team, fueling speculation that he will be called to the stand, reports CBS affiliate WKMG.

He found Caylee’s remains in December 2008 in a wooded lot near the Anthony family’s east Orange County home. Caylee was reported missing in July 2008, about a month after she was last seen alive.

The defense claims that Kronk placed Caylee’s body in the woods, so he could receive the reward money for finding the toddler.

… aaaaaand he did. In the end, a big fat “Nothing Day” for The Defense. Linda Drane Burdick brought it Home for The State, and if I were a Juror.. for me too.
While I’ve always been Suspicious regarding the reason for Roy Kronk’s “Persistance” going in and out of those Woods, and have leaned toward Leonard Padilla’s “Daisy Chain” Theory (Kronk and Private Investigators Dominick Casey and Jim Hoover being “Tipped-off”) I have never, for an instant, felt that Roy Kronk was the Culprit in this Crime, and, after The Prosecution ended its masterful Cross-Examination, I think it made The Defense’s Opening Statement about him a mere Fart-in-the-Wind. (Sorry, it just seemed to fit).
