Casey Anthony: Computer Expert Testifies

Sandra Osborne, a computer forensics expert for the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, took the witness stand this morning in the trial of Casey Anthony. Osborne has been called to testify about photos and Internet searches on a computer at Anthony’s home.

From the Associated Press:

Prosecutors have said previously that an Internet search on chloroform was conducted with the computer. Forensics scientists testified this week that high levels of chloroform were found in Anthony’s car. Chloroform is a chemical that is associated with human decomposition but the compound also can be used to render a person unconscious.

  1. Cheryl Says:

The testimony on the choloform was disputed by the prosecutions witnesses. One said it was a large amount the other said it was NOT a large or abnormal amount. The witness also said that the amount of cholorform residue could have come from pool water. The other stated choloform is also found in many cleaning agents. Thus the chloroform testimony was yet again completely un-reliable as to where it came from and the small amount that was found.

While the Testimonies of these Witnessess did surprisingly Differ, it was stated that any presence of Chloroform is still Significant, based on it’s coincidental Connection to the Computer Searches, and being relative to Casey’s “Difficulty” getting Caylee to go to Sleep. On a different note, I myself am still a bit Confused over that Picture that Rick Morales had on his MySpace Page. Not that I believe he had anything to do with Caylee’s death, but, Why something like that? It just seems there’s got to be more to it than what was Covered while he was on the Stand, stating that he simply thought it was “Funny”. This matter still bugs me…

Yea, I agree! There had to be a point to it and because I have missed some of the testimony I am not sure if it was introduced by Baez or Burdick..I can’t see how it would help either one. It sort of hints that its being used as some kind of date drug? or was it just some idiot making a meaningless comparisom poster to get feed back? It was strange and I too believe we have not heard the last of it.

  4. Cheryl Says:

Don ‘t know about anyone else but these witnesses just keep on contridicting themselves or just plain lying I have not figured out? The shocking end statements of the computer expert stating that chloroform had 84 hits! Then on Baez cross he re canted and said it was no where near that number and finally agreed to two actual searches???

I don’t know that it matters much anymore after Friday’s incredible, riveting, and powerful Testimonies of “Dr. G”, the Anthropologists, and the female CSI… not to mention the Animated “Imposing” of Caylee’s Face and Skull with the Duct Tape— all of which totally Iniallated the Defense. I think “Dr. G”, especially, may have just won the Case for the State, as well as gave their Closing Arguments…

    (Correction.. I meant “SuperImposed”)
