Casey Anthony: Week One of Murder Trial in the Books…

Well…the first week of testimony in the Casey Anthony murder trial definitely had it’s moments, and many thought that it was filled with bombshells.

What do you expect in the coming days/weeks?

From CNN:

As week one of the trial comes to a close, capped off Saturday by the compelling testimony of Casey’s mother, Cindy Anthony, an outsider to the case can only speculate if the jurors feel the truth is coming into focus.

If the jurors are looking for answers in Casey’s face, they may come away empty-handed. While Casey has broken down in court on several occasions, particularly when the subject turns to her relationship with Caylee, she is often stoic as she hears the recollections of the men and women who once made up her life.

On Saturday, Casey was essentially stone-faced until a court recess in the middle of her mother’s testimony. Then Casey was seen sobbing and speaking passionately to her attorneys. The defendant regained composure when her mother retook the stand.

Honestly, I just expect the unexpected in the coming days of this trial. I didn’t expect George or Cindy to be truthful (well, more truthful than they’ve ever been). I figured George would plead the 5th and Cindy would be beligerent with the prosecutors, especially LDB.

Perhaps Casey will have a major meltdown to rival the one of today when her mom wouldn’t stand by her side. Maybe we will see her take the stand because Baez and company aren’t convincing the jury of what her truth is. Who knows.

I think Baez will have to be careful about arguing the science and dogs now that these both confirm his theory. He will have to argue the chloroform if the State brings it up.

And Casey needs to stop testifying from the defense table! It is going against her! Baez should be damn glad that tantrum was not seen by the jury. And he needs to let mason cross examine George. Baez is a bully.

I missed Saturday’s Session. The only thing I know right now is that Cindy testified that she took the Pool Ladder down when she and Caylee were done Swimming on June 15th. That’s a REAL big Bombshell, and One-up for The Prosecution. As I don’t know what else transpired, I’ll catch HLN over the Weekend and maybe come back with my Thoughts….

I THINK MASON WOULD DO A BETTER JOB. I THINK HE’S WAITING TO QUESTION THE SCIENCETIST…BAEZ IS NOT THE BEST YOU CAN TELL HE NEEDS TO STEP DOWN…..IF HE WANTS TO PROVE ANYTHING.

His ego is amazing………..he thinks he can do this single handed.
He is thinking with his little head and casey keeps flirting and pouting and lieing to feed his idiotic ego.

Yoohoo Zelda! I don’t think I’m going to get any “live” Updates before Tuesday. I’m dyin to know what else happened on Saturday…

(Never mind.. Caught Re-runs of JVM and Nancy with Excerpts from Saturday. What a “revealing” Day– Cindy “telling it like it is”.. Casey’s “Hate Face”, Tantrum-throwing, etc. Don’t know if you’re a good “Lip Reader”, but you could tell that Casey was saying something about her Mother “only Crying NOW”, and emphasized the word “Nothing” in a sentence beginning with “She….” Funny, Casey condemning some one ELSE for only Crying “Now”. Too bad she couldn’t feel my fingers poking-in her angry Eyes on the TV Screen).

cindy is a liar too……….too many tears………I can’t muster any sympathy,,,,,,,,as a grandmother I try but just can’t in her case. The whole family is nuts.
She is manipulating the court with her “need to stop” actions………….she is like a brick wall………where do you think casey got all of her ideas????
I am sick of this whole thing already……….
