Casey Anthony: Say Goodbye to Six Potential Jurors

Attorneys have eliminated six potential jurors in the murder trial of Casey Anthony.

From ABC Action News:

A group of 17 prospective jurors was quickly reduced to 11 when the defense and prosecution used three peremptory challenges each.

Chief Judge Belvin Perry said he plans to swear in the panel after one more juror makes it through the vetting process.

Perry wanted eight alternate jurors, but now says that goal may not be attainable.

Eight “Alternates” is good, but I understand they can do fine with anywhere from three to five. Like “The Rolling Stones” song, “You can’t always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you get what you need”…. Let’s hope.
