Casey Anthony: Stain in Trunk Allowed as Evidence in Upcoming Trial

Judge Belvin Perry has ruled that the stain found in Casey Anthony’s car trunk is admissible and can be used in her upcoming trial which is scheduled to begin in May.

From CNN:

Orange County Superior Court Chief Judge Belvin Perry Jr. denied a motion from Anthony’s defense attorney that the evidence was irrelevant. This means that it can be part of next month’s trial as long as prosecutors establish a proper foundation.

“The defendant … failed to meet her burden of proof,” the judge wrote in an order issued Thursday.

I am very happy the stain has come in for the trial but i never thought it wouldn’t. Judge Perry is way to smart to not to see the importance of that evidence. Right now i am sure the defense goof team is not happy camper’s. I believe all will come in including the air samples.

I really hope the air samples come in. Last night I watched Vinnie Politan and he showed a clip of the man from the Body Farm testifying about he jumped back two feet from the can when he opened it. The look Casey gave him before she lowered her eyes and started taking notes was so filled with hate it was unbelievable. You could see the daggers flying out of those shark eyes of hers. Also, since plant growth is pretty much an established science, I’m really hoping that comes in as well. Hell,I hope it ALL comes in……..

Yeah, so far, Judge Perry has left the Door wide-open and allowed practically everything that holds highly-significant Relevance to walk right in. When you think about it, it’s quite a heap of Incriminating Evidence to date. I heard tonight that even the Caddavor (sp?) Dog “Hits” in the Anthony’s Backyard and the Car Trunk are coming in also, and it would be hard to believe if the Judge DIDN’T allow the “Air Samples” and “Plant-Growth” Scientific Reports/Testimony to be included, when he’s pushing everything else thus far right through. That stuff is undeniably pretty damn important. As for this “Stain”, it’s good it’s in, but it was also reported that George and Cindy, and even Lee, claimed, early-on, that the Stain was there when they purchased the Car. Depending on how long ago that was, and whether or not the Car Dealer or private-Owner is still around— and remembers— I suppose the Accurracy of that Claim could be investigated and proven right or wrong. Perhaps it has been already. Don’t know. Otherwise, unless the Lab can confirm the “Age” of the Stain and/or it’s “Make-up”, it’ll end-up being The Family’s
Word against The Prosecution’s, and I would think it’ll be kind of tough to definitely associate it with Caylee’s body. Personally, I believe she WAS in the Trunk, and let’s hope The Prosecution DOES have what it needs to support the “Stain” being produced from just that.
