Lindsay Lohan Facing Felony Over Necklace Theft

Prosecutors will formally charge Lindsay Lohan today with felony grand theft related to a necklace that was allegedly taken from a California jewelry store last month.

Will she FINALLY see some jail time for SOMETHING? Hard to say. We’ll have to wait and see…

From CNN:

The charge comes five weeks after the actress was released from court-ordered drug rehabilitation and less than three weeks before a judge said he might free her from supervised probation from a 2007 drunken driving conviction.

The actress “allegedly walked out of the store with the necklace on January 22,” a statement from the district attorney’s office said. “The owner reported the theft to the Los Angeles Police Department, which investigated the allegation and presented evidence to the D.A.’s office last week.”

The “one-of-a-kind necklace,” which is valued at $2,500, was handed over to police just before they were to execute a search warrant to look for the jewelry in Lohan’s Venice, California, apartment last week, police said.

  1. Guess Lindsay Lohan will never learn her lesson or grow up. She needs jail to straighten her out. Hopefully that will. If not who knows what will happen to her. She is a good actress but she throws it away because of her behavior. Feel bad for her. Maybe she has low self-esteem, doesn’t have people she can trust & that’s why she does the stuff she does. Wish she would get help & make changes in her life. She could have a great, drug free life if she chooses too. Obviously she chooses not too and wish she would before it’s to late.

I just can’t get over how many times our Justice System has allowed this girl to Slide. She came to Court with her own personal Bail Bondsman, pled “Not Guilty”, the Judge merely told her not to push her Luck or break any Laws between now and her March Hearing, she paid her $40,000 Bail, and… out the Door she went. First of all, it’s a “No-Brainer” that Lindsay “intentionally” stole the Necklace— I don’t believe the Jewelry Store would Lie about that— and, besides, if they really DID “loan” it to her as she claimed, what would be the need to return it to the POLICE, rather than the Store. If any ONE of us out here walked out of a Shop with a $2,500 Necklace, we WOULD be Jailed. This “Star Treatment”— over and over and over again, and in more than just HER case— is just another reason to hate the Bias and Unfairness that goes on in our “Justice” System, and the Message that it’s sending out is Loud and Clear…. If you’re Rich and Famous, it’s Okay. In Lindsay’s case, I will actually clap my Hands and be quite glad if and when the day comes that her Luck runs out and she gets what she deserves.

No wonder the regular guy is going nuts these days……..all this lopsided meting of so called justice and smoke and mirror examples of “celebrity life styles that fly in the face of reality are the yoke the money mongers have us choking on.
It’s all a manipulated reality folks!nothing is even close to fair or equal out there……….If you have the cash you can dodge many bullets that would have killed us regular citizens on the first try.
Once in awhile a big buck guy etc. gets put away……..which we all are gleeful to see but for the most part it’s all a big joke.It p—-es us off!
What do we see……? Being pretty matters……having money matters….knowing the “right” people matters and so on.
Justice????? hmmmmmmmm…………I am appalled at our legal system……..it’s a national shame how we deal with murders of children and women and minorities.
Lindsay is one sick spoiled puppy in my opinion. But she looks good in tight dresses or no dress or whatever the hell……sooooooooooo??????

Yeah, speaking of “Dresses”… I wouldn’t have the nerve to walk into Court and go before a Judge like that— even if I WAS a Celebrity. Really goes to show you that she has no Thought or Respect for ANYthing.

  5. zelda Says:

SHE HAS NEVER BEEN A SLAVE TO GOOD DECISIONS ON “DRESSES” ……….OR ANYTHING ELSE FOR THAT MATTER.

I AGREE IT WAS A STUPID CHOICE TO WEAR TO COURT.WHAT’S UP WITH HER LAWYER……..SHE COULD HAVE PUT THE KABOSH ON TACKY CLOTHES FOR COURT EH????????

OH WELL……..I HAVE TO FEED THE CAT.A MUCH MORE IMPORTANT USE OF MY TIME.

    HOW YA DOIN HONEYDOG?

  6. Honeydog Says:

Oh I’m okay. And I hope I’m right in gathering that you are doing much better? I’m glad you’re here.

  7. zelda Says:

I am doing about the same…..looks like a lifelong thing…..I am trying to stay positive.

  8. Honeydog Says:

Okay, please do that.. and I will continue to keep you in my Prayers that you are given everything you need to stay that way.
