10 Feet of Snow Forecast for California

Batten down the hatches!

A winter storm warning remains in effect through through this afternoon for the  Sierra Nevada where 10 feet of snow is forecast.

From CNN:

“Storm totals of 5 to 10 feet above 7,000 feet are likely,” the weather service said, and periods of heavy snow will continue through Monday. High winds are also forecast for the region.

Forecasters said travel into the high country of the southern Sierra Nevada could be difficult, if not impossible.

Whoa! And where I live, in the upper midwest, we are expecting 2-4″ of snow. I guess there really is a downside to that sunny Cali- weather! lol

It’s been obvious for a while now that our Planet is undergoing alot of changes and shifts in Weather conditions in many parts of it. With things like Snow, high Winds and flooding Rain in California, Temperatures at the Freezing Point in Florida, early unusual incapacitating Ice Storms in Europe, etc, and then nothing or barely anything bad in those places which USED to be affected, you know something’s going on.
