Keith Olbermann Suspended By MSNBC

MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann was suspended today after the channel discovered that he had made campaign contributions to three Democrats.

From USA Today:

The primetime host of Countdown was suspended indefinitely without pay today for making political contributions to three Democratic candidates this fall, including one on the same day he appeared on Olbermann’s program, according to Politico.

Olbermann made campaign contributions to two Arizona members of Congress and failed Kentucky Senate candidate Jack Conway ahead of Tuesday’s election.

From Forbes:

“I became aware of Keith’s political contributions late last night,” said MSNBC President Phil Griffin in a statement. “Mindful of NBC News policy and standards, I have suspended him indefinitely without pay.”
