Woman Sues College Because She Can’t Find a Job

A recent college graduate is suing her alma mater for $72,000 because she cannot find a job.

The time of lawsuits for everything needs to stop. Let’s start taking responsibility for ourselves!

From CNN:

Trina Thompson, 27, of the Bronx, graduated from New York’s Monroe College in April with a bachelor of business administration degree in information technology.

On July 24, she filed suit against the college in Bronx Supreme Court, alleging that Monroe’s “Office of Career Advancement did not help me with a full-time job placement. I am also suing them because of the stress I have been going through.”

The college responded that it offers job-search support to all its students.

In her complaint, Thompson says she seeks $70,000 in reimbursement for her tuition and $2,000 to compensate for the stress of her three-month job search.

This is so Absurd. What some people think, expect, demand, and won’t do, to get “Something for Nothing”.
Sounds like this Woman is the type that can easily Pass a lengthy difficult technical Test but has no simple Common Sense. “Stressed-out” and still Jobless after only THREE months?!… I’d hate to know what Action she’d take if she had a bad day at the Office. Doubt the College handed her a signed “Guarantee” she’d take-off her Cap and Gown and run straight to the Time-Clock. She’s obviously Lazy, and a “Quitter” already, and probably wouldn’t be too great an
    “Asset” to any Employer anyway.

P.S: Oh my God, I just now saw this Story on the News— I KNEW it… THIS is what she was going-for! What NERVE! This Shit infuriates me! She doesn’t deserve any more Attention or Advantage over any other Individual out there trying to find Work, and I REALLY hope she gets knocked-down for thinking she’s entitled to take the “Easy Way Out”, and gets taught a hard Lesson in having to “Crawl before she Walks”!

  3. That’s hilarious. On what grounds is she suing the college if she is not personally employable?
