Autopsy Shows Billy Mays Died of Heart Disease, Not Head Trauma

According to a coroner Vernard Adams of Tampa, Florida, Billy Mays died from a pulmonary embolism. The autopsy also found evidence of heart disease.

It’s been a very sad week for celebrity deaths. It’s also amazing to think that both Billy Mays and Michael Jackson were only 50 years old when they died.

From People Magazine:

According to Hillsborough County Medical Examiner Vernard Adams, Mays “had an enlarged heart, a thickening of the wall of the ventricle which takes blood to the heart.” Final results of the autopsy and cause of death will not be known for several weeks.

Mays, 50, the bearded man with the booming voice best known for his ubiquitous OxiClean ads died in his sleep in his Florida home over the weekend.

It is sad that Bill died and left behind a wife & 3 year old daughter. With that being said, I saw Bill as a “snake oil” salesman trying to part you with your last few bucks. Selling cheap junk that lasts 5 weeks (plus extra shipping & handling) is not the way you earn my respect. A bullshitter is is worth what he sells…..
