A second earthquake, measuring 4.0 on the richter scale, has struck an area of Orange County where a 3.8 quake struck just hours earlier.

The automated California Integrated Seismic Network says the latest quake struck at 8:27 p.m. Thursday and had a preliminary magnitude of 4.0.
Orange County sheriff’s Lt. Tom Slayton says no damage has been reported.
The first quake struck at 4:56 p.m. and was centered 2 miles northeast of the city of Yorba Linda.
