Casey Anthony: Moved Due to Death Threats?

According to a very reputable source (The National Enquirer…sorry I had to say it!), bodyguards had to move Casey Anthony after a death threat was posted at the home where she was staying.

OK fess up…which one of you did it!

The Enquirer reports that the death threat read: “I know where you are, I’m coming to put a bullet through your brain.”

A source, described as an “insider,” told The Enquirer: ”There are plenty of people who want to kill Casey because they believe she got away with murdering little Caylee. Her bodyguards rushed her off in the middle of the night to another safe house, a prearranged safe hideout that was available in the event of such an emergency.”

Casey Anthony: The Movie

It appears that Lifetime is setting the stage for a possible TV movie based on the new book Imperfect Justice, Prosecuting Casey Anthony by retired Florida prosecutor Jeff Ashton.

Fox TV Studios has optioned the rights to Ashton’s memoir, “Imperfect Justice: Prosecuting Casey Anthony,” which chronicles the three years he spent trying to convict Anthony of the murder of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee.

Anthony was acquitted by a Florida jury in July following a trial that made international headlines. The telepic aims to tell the story of the sordid murder case from the perspective of the prosecution team.

Casey Anthony: Roy Kronk Deposition Scheduled for This Week

Roy Kronk, the man who discovered Caylee Anthony’s remains, will be questioned under oath this week.

Casey Anthony’s lawyers plan to depose Roy Kronk on Thursday.

Kronk was working as an Orange County meter reader when he found the child’s remains in the woods near the Anthony family home last year.

Kronk called 911 three times beforehand to say he saw something suspicious in those woods.

Casey Anthony: Department of Children and Families Pays a Visit

The Florida State Department of Children and Families (DCF) has confirmed that officials visited George and Cindy Anthony this past Friday to follow up on a complaint about child care.

Since Cindy Anthony said she was on some sort of disability, the man who emailed DCF said he wanted officials to see if the couple needed a license to babysit in their home. The man said he began concerned after seeing the Anthonys on a national news program.

On Friday, investigators visited George and Cindy Anthony at their home to see what kind of child care if any they were providing.

DCF’s Carrie Hoeppner said Cindy Anthony was very open with investigators and said she was “helping a friend who was between babysitters and that’s OK.”

Is Cindy Anthony “Enjoying This Whole Thing”?

According to Zenaida Gonzalez’s attorney, John Morgan, she is. Local6 is reporting that Morgan stated that Cindy Anthony “seems to be enjoying this whole thing”.

It amazes me that someone would actually say something like that. I mean, yes, it could be true or you could think that. But most people wouldn’t actually say it outloud, right? Maybe I’m in the minority here. Come to think of it, I can think of a few people who visit this site who would have no problem saying it

I do agree with Morgan, though, that if I could have, I would have been door to door searching from the outset. If my 3 year old girl was missing, i would not be sitting around waiting for something to happen or waiting to go to the police. I would be out day and night, 24/7 until I found her.

Anyways, no matter how you feel about this case, please remember that there is a missing 3 year old girl involved. This is the most important thing. Not who is doing what or anything of that sort. Caylee Anthony is what matters most.

Attorney John Morgan, who represents a woman by the name of Zenaida Gonzalez with the only known connection to the apartment complex, has filed a lawsuit against Casey Anthony, saying his client’s name has been tarnished and Casey Anthony’s claim has affected his client’s ability to find employment.

“I think the mother (of Casey Anthony) — in a way — seems to be enjoying this whole thing,” Morgan said. “Instead of talking about chasing ambulances, I would be chasing after Caylee. I would be in the woods. I would be door to door.”

The harsh words come after Cindy Anthony lashed out at Morgan following a prayer vigil on Sunday.

“I think the whole thing is ludicrous,” Cindy Anthony said. “Attorney Morgan — it’s frivolous — he needs to just get back to chasing the ambulances.”

Morgan said he is attempting to schedule depositions with Casey Anthony and her attorney as early as this week.

Casey Anthony’s Family to Speak This Week

Michelle Bart, a spokeswoman for Kid Finders, has stated that she will work on behalf of the family of missing 3-year-old Caylee Anthony after allegations last week that their former representative was cashing in on the media firestorm ignited by her disappearance.

Bart said that the girl’s grandparents, Cindy and George Anthony, will make a comment this week. She also stated that she will not discuss the legal case against Casey Anthony, but reporters can ask “anything that needs to be asked” regarding the search for Caylee.

If our discussion board is any indication of what people would like to ask them, this should be interesting. Hmmm…I wonder what they have to say?

“As time went on, things started unraveling with the circumstances of their previous spokesperson,” said Bart, who runs Helping Heroes Inc., a Vancouver, Wash.-based public-relations company that works with nonprofit organizations.

Last week, the Anthony family’s attorney, Mark NeJame, accused former family spokesman Larry Garrison of hiding a $6,500 payment from NBC for providing photos of Caylee.

NeJame said the Anthonys fired Garrison. The former spokesman said he resigned because of the family’s erratic behavior.

Bart has already announced a news conference for this week, something she says “should have been done weeks ago.”

She said the meeting will include Caylee’s grandparents, Cindy and George Anthony; NeJame; the Kid Finders Network; and a private investigator who has been working on the case. Bart said they will discuss tips and findings in recent weeks that have led the Anthonys to think their granddaughter is still alive. Police have said they think the girl is dead.

“Hopefully, by the end of the week the public will understand why we’ve been searching for Caylee Marie,” Bart said. “We truly believe that Caylee Marie is alive.”

George and Cindy Anthony Renew Effort to Find Caylee Alive

George and Cindy Anthony said this weekend that they’ll be concentrating on finding their granddaughter, Caylee, alive rather than having divers search for her remains.

The Kid Finders Network is working hard to find Caylee.

George and Cindy Anthony spent the weekend at the group’s headquarters on Goldenrod Road handing out flyers and other information about their granddaughter.

They also worked to get the word out about other missing children from the area.”

George and Cindy Anthony are so driven to bring home every child. There is no handbook to teach you what to do in this situation when faced with this kind of devastation to a family, and they have been wonderful,” Kid Finders Network spokeswoman Michelle Bart said.

Also, Leonard Padilla, has left Central Florida to return to California but plans to return to Central Florida later to continue the search.
