Casey Anthony: Prosecutors Admit They Missed Key Evidence
According to reports, prosecutors and investigators in the murder case against Casey Anthony admitted they overlooked a smoking gun that could have put the nail in the coffin of the accused murderer.
From the New York Post:
But now for the first time, Florida authorities are confirming the remarkable blunder.
“There was an oversight,” said Orange County [Fla.] Sheriff’s Capt. Angelo Nieves. “This has been a learning experience for investigators as well.”
Trial prosecutor Jeff Ashton said proof of the macabre web search could have been a crucial weapon. The defense had claimed Caylee accidentally drowned and Casey Anthony’s dad George Anthony ditched the body.
“It’s just a shame we didn’t have it,” Ashton said. “This certainly would have put the accidental death claim in serious question.”

…”It’s just a shame we didn’t have it”… Didn’t have WHAT???— That Casey was the one who did the Computer Searches, and not CINDY???… This was already uncovered during the TRIAL, when it was proven that Cindy was at WORK when the Computer Searches were done at HOME, so THAT part can’t be it. Would sure like to know what this “Key Evidence” was. Well… it’s too bad now, isn’t it… A Day Late and a Dollar Short. We all know what a botched-up mess that whole Trial was anyway, but no matter what was “missed” in Court, The “Court of Public Opinion” didn’t miss a thing.
HELLO FRIENDS! LOVE AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL!!
