Come to the Spaich Scary House TONIGHT!
If you’re looking for something fun to do with the kids tonight, and you’re anywhere near San Tomas Expressway, Winchester Boulevard and Payne Avenue in San Jose, be sure to check out the Spaich Scary House! Follow the link to join their fan page on Facebook.
It’s not the largest haunted house you’ll find, but the gentleman who owns the house spends up to two months preparing his garage for Halloween and doesn’t ask for any money or compensation in return. That’s a VERY cool gesture!
My kids have loved this place since we moved back to California in 2006. It’s only a block away from grandma’s house and we have to take a walk past it at least once a day so the kids can see “Achmed” the skeleton (because they think he looks like Achmed the Dead Terrorist from Jeff Dunham) and all of the other ghoulish characters.
This year’s house is set to be the best yet with a garage full of surprises (including my son’s favorite…the man who jumps out of the garbage can!). The Spaich Scary House will be open tonight from 7-10 p.m. If you’re walking the neighborhood and coming from Payne Avenue, turn onto Spaich and it will be approximately two blocks up on your right.
Watch out for me! I’ll be the one with the two kids and possibly a chihuahua.

You’ll be “the one with the two Kids”? That’s funny! (like no one else will have Kids with them)… Well, okay, maybe not a Chihuahua.
I know you all had a Fun night. Having “little ones” to Dress-up and take out is just the Best at Halloween!
