Casey Anthony’s defense team has billed the state of Florida more than $103,400 in the year since she was declared indigent.
From the Associated Press:
According to a financial report released Wednesday by the Justice Administrative Commission, $60,226 has been paid so far, with the majority of the billings paying for investigative work and court-appointed, mitigation-specialist expenses. Authorities estimate that Anthony’s trial, slated to start May 9, will cost more than $361,000.

Along with the length of time this Case has been given so far, this is astronomically preposterous and repulsive for a “nobody” who doesn’t deserve any of it. JMO.

It’s an absurdity……..embarrassingly weak and over the top. There is something very wrong here………

Something very wrong, i agree. Especially when all parties involved are reaching for stardom and fame and never mention the name of Caylee anymore. It’s almost like the court has nothing to do about the victim Caylee, I think they should hang Caylee’s picture and name all around the courtroom for mama and all the rest to keep her in focus. I’m not up for any good reason so thought I would just write my mind.

I AGREE ONEOP……….a picture of the victim is a good idea. After all it’s the victim the justice system should be concerned with.

Oh the Jury will see it alright… I’m positive, if not sitting on an Easel or something up-front in the Courtroom, Caylee’s picture will be shown at some point or at different points throughout. She IS, afterall, the “Core” of this Trial— especially to The Prosecution, which no doubt will consistently point to it, or even intermittantly carry it around, and remind the Jury of her Sweetness and Innocence, her short Life, and who took it.
