Casey Anthony: Letters Lead to Suspension of Officer
Officer Silvia Hernandez has been suspended with pay while an investigation takes place surrounding letters passed between Casey Anthony and another inmate.
From The TV Guy:
“Hernandez is under investigation for being a little too nice to Casey and her two friends,” WFTV’s Kathi Belich reported.
Anthony wrote 50 letters to another inmate, drug dealer Robyn Adams, and befriended gang member Maya Derkovic.
“But Casey needed help to getting her letters to Robyn because both of them were in protective custody,” Belich added. “Robyn told murder investigators that jail guard Silvia Hernandez delivered Casey’s letters to her.”
From WESH:
A representative for the Orange County Department of Corrections said the letters were a a violation of security protocol. Any corrections officer who facilitated the correspondence could face punishment, as well as Anthony herself.
Prosectors alleged Anthony was somehow able to exchange the letters with Robyn Adam, who is being referred to by Anthony’s defense team as a “jailhouse snitch.” According to court documents there are 258 pages believed to be handwritten by Anthony.

Hi Kreuzer, how lovely. Casey and her two thug jail bird friends. Hernandez should have known to stay away from doing anything nice for an Anthony. Now she is in a heap of trouble. Whenever an Anthony is involved it can’t be anything but bad.

So The Defense Team is calling this other Inmate a “Jailhouse Snitch”…. Awwwwww, POOR Casey…. How dare this really bad person rat-out their darling sweet unsuspecting Client. (Seems to me they’re not paying too much attention to what she HERSELF is up to “Behind Closed Bars”)……..

Hi Friends-I remember mentioning that their would be a Cat B witness and these witnesses usually are employees of the jail (guards, van drivers, etc). I am not surprised that she is in trouble as she actively participated in what is now a breach of security.
I wonder if she was one of the guards who witnessed Casey’s little breakdown on December 11, 2008.

I think the officer that passed the letters should be investigated WITH OUT pay.. Use your head, nobody is worth lossing a job over… And by the way WHY can’t we leave the grandparents out of this. Remember that UNCONDITIONAL LOVE is what all parents should have for their children, even when they are bad!!!!!!!!!

I agree that an Employee in this capacity should not be Paid while Suspended. Why bother having “Rules” in the first place?— If ya break ‘em, ya get to have some time off, and your Check comes rollin-in just the same. Big Punnishment.
