Casey Anthony Doesn’t Plan to Sell Her (Or Caylee’s) Story
Casey Anthony said yesterday that she believes prosecutors are upset because she has refused to take a plea agreement for a crime that she did not commit.
From WESH:
The handwritten words – including capital letters for “DID NOT” — are part of a sworn affidavit she signed on Tuesday.
The affidavit also states that she has no agreements to sell her story or “that of my daughter, Caylee Marie Anthony.”
Anthony’s defense attorney filed the affidavit as part of his objection to a prosecution motion that is seeking to find out where Anthony is getting money to fund her defense.
Prosecutors on Monday said they want a judge to find out where Anthony, who is charged with her daughter Caylee’s death, is getting the money to pay for her defense team.
They want Judge Stan Strickland to require Baez to produce all deposit records, retainer agreements and licensing arrangements. If any of these dealings exist, prosecutors want Casey Anthony to sign a waiver saying she’s aware of them. Baez said he’s been consulting an ethics lawyer all the way and said Monday he planned to file a sworn motion repeating his stance that he’s done nothing unethical.
Repeatedly, Baez has declined to say who is paying for her legal dream team. He said it’s nobody’s business.
As questions persisted, Baez said he has “done nothing but conduct myself in a most professional manner, and that he has done nothing unethical” when asked about the role he played in building the defense fund.
One of the lead prosecutors said this deal could lead to a potential conflict of interest for Baez. Baez said this is a “witch hunt,” and the state has “no evidence” to prove their allegations because he’s done nothing wrong.

I think Mr and Mrs Anthony have all the financial responsibilities when it comes to paying for Casey’s defense. It would appear to me that they were given control over Caylee’s remains and carried out Casey’s wishes. If in fact they are the PA for Casey Anthony, they have strict guidelines about what they can and cannot do with items of value that they possess. The home is a treasure trove of items and they can be sold by Mr and Mrs Anthony.

Is it wrong to profit from Casey’s case? Vote on it.

Boston, you are correct. Casey keeps saying “I am not going to sell the story” she does not say “No one is going to sell the story. she could have signed over the rights to her parents and they are selling off the items bit by bit to pay for the defense. I heard that neither George or Cindy has worked in a year..how are they affording that?

Everytime Casey Anthony opens her mouth I hear “Lie, Lie, Lie”.

luvanrs and Charlee-Yes, Casey lies but you can hear in her lying answers that there is a dash of truth. She is a thieving, conniving person and don;t think for one moment she doesn’t see a financial windfall. Even if she’s in the slammer she is going to want a lifetime supply of Doritos and Snickers. Her needs come first and by the gods she is going to have them met.
Cindy and George have lost their careers and their standing in the community but still have to pay that mortgage so you can bet that they have their paws in the till.

I can no more believe that Casey’s signature on the bottom of a typed-up “Promise” is worth anything different than her spoken words. I’m inclined to think, with how messed-up she is, she didn’t even
understand the darn Affidavit and could care less.
If she did, she probably had her Fingers crossed behind her Back. Like she said, “I’ll Lie, or
Cheat, or Steal… Whatever I have to do”. One thing I believe she’ll never “sell” is HERSELF short.
