Casey Anthony: Questions in Civil Case Released
The questionnaire in the civil suit against Casey Anthony was released this evening.
It’s a list of questions attorneys want her to answer, and some of them are quite interesting.
From MyFox Orlando:
VIDEO: Questions in civil case against Casey Anthony released
Casey Anthony has always claimed that the nanny took little Caylee Anthony. She gave police the name Zenaida Gonzalez. There is a Zenaida Gonzalez in Osceola County. Police have cleared her name. But she claims Casey ruined her life and her reputation, so she’s suing in civil court.
Zenaida’s attorney, John Morgan, talked about the case in November.
“Can you imagine, you accuse someone of stealing your child, killing or kidnapping your child,” he said. “This person is questioned by police, harassed by the public, loses a job and you say I’ve been damaged. I’ve never seen anything like this in my 25 years in law.”
A judge ruled in January that Zenaida’s lawyers can question Casey by submitting questions in writing. Here is some of what lawyers want to ask Casey.
When did you first meet Zenaida?
How many times did she babysit for you?
Who else did you tell that Zenaida was babysitting?
Do you admit the Zenaida Gonzalez who is suing you has never babysat for Caylee?
Do you admit that she is not the Zenaida Gonzalez you told police about?
Through her lawyers, we know Casey says the woman filing the suit is not the Zenaida she claimed she dropped Caylee off with. Casey’s attorneys say they will not let her answer the 29 questions, so the debate over the questionnaire could easily end up back in court.

Gonzales was an intentional, easy target for Casey. Casey is putting forth some very serious charges against Gonzales.
Casey would not blink an eye if this Gonzales or some other took the murder rap for her. Casey should have to at least face Gonzales and all the facts…car type, children’s names, etc…and declare they are not the ones she’s accusing.
Perhaps Baez is countering Morgan because he thinks this interface will make Casey look foolish and thus be damaging. If so, I believe Baez would be right here. Casey would look very foolish. Putting a face to Casey’s lies, exposes them for what they are and exposes the hurt that lies can manifest in others’ lives.
Casey has been developing this nanny story for some time, at least to cover for where Caylee was pre-6/15, but additionally helpful post-6/15. I’m not sure when she stuck Gonzales in the picture…if she knew she’d have to have more facts to go with the lies.
Like Jeff Hopkins, she picked someone that could be traced, but then had a dead end. I’m surprised she didn’t think to pick someone completely untraceable.
At the same time, I’m surprised she hasn’t pointed the finger at one of her friends…no, wait, that’s in the works now…with Jesse and Ricardo.

I could only see 17 questions…who has the other 12?

Oh, wait, I think I know-it’s that psychic in Michigan that Caylee told about Dante.

When Casey was presented with the photo of Ms Gonzales she immediately said that she was not the babysitter. Not such a surprise coming from the ultimate con artist. She thinks this is going to get her off the hook. When she picked Zanny’s name off that RE guest card she was laying the foundation for the DA to ask probative questions relative to acting after the fact -blaming someone else; she allowed her parents to knowingly or unkowningly to suggest both Zanny and Jesse. Any warm body which is available and somewhat credible, even if one is simply made up.
She’s cooked no matter what she says or doesn’t say. She identified an unkown person as a murderer and this had to be done because it helped cover up a murder as well as put a face to the crime. I think this and the fact that she did not report the child missing for 31 days adds to her consciousness of guilt.

Almost the same hour that police located this Zenaida Gonzalez, Casey stated she was not the Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez who was her nanny. We can guess that, in her frantic computer searches for Zenaida on 7/15 and 7/16, she somehow found the info pertaining to the visit to the model apartment, but it looks like we’ll never know how she got that info for sure.
I’m all for making Casey responsible for every evil she has done, but the fact is she has done nothing at all to this Zenaida, other than exonerate her. If this Zenaida has a case, it would be against the media, or the police, for associating her with the case. But, I seem to recall from the initial interviews that she stated she was unemployed, looking for work as a housekeeper. NOT that she had had a job and just been fired after appearing in the news.
Who whispered in her ear that there might be monetary gain in a civil suit?

Maybe the OCSD.

Whether this Gonzales is a ne’er-do-well or not, is not the point. The point is that Casey fingered her in a very specific way which did traumatize, though perhaps in a minor way, her and her kids….unless it’s nothing for the police to come to someone’s house and question everyone and rummage through their things. The continued use of Zenaida’s name is also problematic.
It would take little time for Casey to write answers to these questions and officially, legally, publically exonerate Zenaida and her family. For Casey to simply wave this ZG off in a line-up is not enough of an exoneration in light of the seriousness of the accusations. It is the least Casey can do for ZG and it would help clarify her own case. Help Baez find real ZG!
