Casey Anthony’s Parents Want Private Meeting
But will they actually get what they want?
Brad Conway is expected to request that George and Cindy Anthony be allowed to meet privately with their daughter Casey, who’s behind bars at the Orange County Jail.
From ABC Action News:
Visits with inmates by family and friends are typically videotaped and made public. The Anthony’s have not seen or spoken with Casey in more than three months.
Earlier reports from several Orlando media outlets indicated the Anthony’s wanted to hold a funeral service for Caylee Anthony at the jail.
But attorney Brad Conway says the reason for the request is to allow Casey and her parents a little private time to remember Casey’s murdered daughter, Caylee Anthony (photos).
Jail officials say it’s unlikely that the request will be granted.
Casey is accused of killing Caylee, whose skeletal remains were discovered near the Anthony home December 11.

Why does it have to be private? I thought the Anthonys liked the exposure?
If they want something private, they should try letter-writing. Maybe that’s what they’re doing now. If letters don’t work, then open, private conversation won’t work.
One of the experts on NG suggested that perhaps the parents want to get Casey to plea if they get a private meeting.
Baloney!! Isn’t that Baez’ job? Isn’t he supposed to be looking out for her best interest?
Do the parents think they can get Casey to do something Baez can’t or won’t do?
Since when has Casey ever listened to her parents?
If this is the intent of the meeting…or any other intent…why does it have to be private??
Perhaps the parents just want to say things to Casey to help her or spare her, but those conversations would include parent-incriminating evidence.
Whichever, whatever….the Anthonys should “play” within the system’s rules. Try to talk Casey into whatever, but do it openly with nothing to hide. If Casey won’t respond on a video, she won’t respond in private.
