David Duchovny Enters Rehab for Sex Addiction
No, the sex does not involve aliens. David Duchovny, the former X-Files star, has voluntarily checked into rehab for sex addiction.
From MSNBC:
“I have voluntarily entered a facility for the treatment of sex addiction,” the actor said in a statement released to Access. “I ask for respect and privacy for my wife and children as we deal with this situation as a family.”
David married actress Téa Leoni in 1997. They have two children, daughter Madelaine West, 9, and son Kyd, 6.
From the International Business Times:
“X-Files” star David Duchovny, who currently plays a womanizing writer on the television series “Californication,” said on Thursday he has entered a facility for treatment of sex addiction.
The 48-year-old star, who is married to actress Tea Leoni, is said to have entered the facility “voluntarily”, according to his publicist.
Duchovny rose to fame playing FBI agent Fox Mulder, and now ironically stars as a sex obsessed character “Hank Moody” in the hit TV series “Californication,” which has recently aired on Channel 5.
